Dr. Brickl MD to Join Windsor Clinic
Associates in Family Medicine is pleased to announce the hiring of Dr. Ian Brickl, M.D., who will join the Windsor Office staff April 17th, 2012.
Dr. Brickl will be accepting new patients and his practice includes the full spectrum of Family Medicine including OB care, pediatric care, and adult medical care. Dr. Brickl will be assuming the care for the patients formerly seen by Dr. Tom Coburn.
Although Dr. Brickl will be a new addition to AFM, he is not new to Northern Colorado. Dr. Brickl has been with the Salud Clinic in Fort Collins since 2004 and he brings a wealth of education and practice experience. He was raised in England and attended Cambridge University where he obtained a B.A and M.A. in electrical engineering. He worked for several years in industry and academia as an electrical engineer, received an M.S. in electrical and biomedical engineering at the University of Colorado in 1996 and then graduated from the CU Medical School in 2000. He completed his residency training at the Family Medicine Center with Poudre Valley Health System from 2001 to 2004.
Dr. Brickl is fluent in Spanish and enjoys caring for Spanish speaking patients. His interests include preventive care (Particularly the prevention of obesity and diabetes), pediatric care and OB care. In his spare time Dr Brickl enjoys traveling and spending time at both outdoor and indoor activities with his wife and 2 children. Appointments can be scheduled by calling the Windsor office at 686-0124. Prior to his starting date in April, AFM is rotating physicians to the Windsor office to meet all patient needs. In the interim, appointments for visits and physicals can be scheduled with other providers.
