Lawrence E. Murphy, M.D.

Dr. Lawrence Murphy was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from the College of St. Thomas in St. Paul before attending the University of Minnesota Medical School, where he graduated in 1981 with a Doctor of Medicine degree. Upon completion of the Fort Collins Family Practice Residency Program, Dr. Murphy practiced in Vail, Estes Park, and Olympia, WA.
Dr. Murphy joined Associates in Family Medicine in 1989, providing services including pediatrics, GYN, adolescent and adult care. His most rewarding area in the practice of medicine has been providing pediatric care. Dr. Murphy is married and has two children, Autumn Rae and Taylor. He takes full advantage of the region and weather that Colorado has to offer, being active in skiing, hiking, kayaking, and running. Dr. Murphy also displays interest in hobby farming with his menagerie of animals including rabbits, cows, horses, cats and ducks.
